How do I recognize Shuttlecoach buses?
The buses of Shuttlecoach are clearly recognizable by their striking appearance. The buses of Shuttlecoach have an Shuttlecoach logo.
In the unlikely event that another bus is running than the bus in the photo below, the Shuttlecoach logo is always visible behind the windscreen and possibly elsewhere on the bus.
Is there a toilet on the bus?
No, Shuttlecoach coaches generally do not have a toilet. However, it is possible that you will find a coach where this facility is available. Keep this in mind before starting your trip.
The travel time seems excessively long to me?
This was done because we take into account possible crowds and special circumstances along the way. In most cases you will arrive at your destination earlier than stated on the timetable.
Can I smoke/eat/drink on the bus?
As in all public buildings and means of transport, smoking is not allowed on our buses. Eating and drinking is allowed provided you do not cause any nuisance by leaving stains and/or food residues behind.
If I missed my bus, can/may I travel with the next bus?
If you missed the bus through no fault of your own, you can simply travel on the next available bus. If this is the case, please report to the telephone number below so that one of our employees can change your reservation.
If you miss your bus through your own fault, you are not allowed to travel with the next bus. It is your own responsibility to be on time at the bus.
If you still want to travel with the next bus, you can buy a new ticket.

Do I get my money back if I have not used my ticket?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to return money for an unused ticket.
Rides can be canceled up to 3 days before departure if there are insufficient bookings. Shuttlecoach cannot be held responsible for delays or other circumstances.
Please note: in case of insufficient participation, we reserve the right to offer another form of transport.
I can't/don't want to pay via the internet, is there another way?
Unfortunately, AmsterdamExpressBus has no sales points and all sales are done via the Internet.
Are there special rates for children, students and the elderly?
At AmsterdamExpressBus you pay for a seat, no special discounts apply. Children under the age of 4 who do not occupy their own seat and are accompanied by a “paying” person over 16 years of age may travel for free (1 child per adult). Children over 4 years old, students and the elderly pay the normal rate.
Do discount cards and OV/NS cards also apply to the AmsterdamExpressBus?
No, AmsterdamExpressBus is not part of public transport, so these discount cards and promotions do not apply. At AmsterdamExpressBus you pay for a seat, no special discounts apply.
Which luggage can I take for free?
You may take one piece of hand baggage and one piece of checked baggage with you. Hand luggage, a bag with maximum dimensions (LxWxH) 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm, can be taken on the bus.
You are also allowed to take one carefully packed piece of luggage with you (a suitcase, tote bag, backpack, normal size). You do not have to notify us in advance of buggies and prams that can be folded.
Medical attributes such as crutches, walking frames, rollators and other aids are also transported free of charge.
What special luggage can I bring?
Below you will find an overview of permitted special baggage. You must register this baggage when you make your booking. If we are not aware of this, we cannot guarantee that your luggage can be taken with you.

- Bicycles
- Folded or disassembled pedals, handlebars turned lengthwise or use of a bicycle box
- Golf bags
- Musical instruments (max. 1.50 meters)
- Fishing equipment
- Waveboards, surfboards, hang gliders (max. 1.50 meters)
- Winter sports equipment
- One pair of skis, boots and poles or one snowboard and pair of boots
What are the rates for the special baggage?
Extra suitcase: € 10 (per one way)
Special luggage: € 17.50 (per item per one way)
Do I receive proof of my checked baggage?
Immediately after completing the reservation, you will receive a confirmation at the email address you provided. In the appendix you will find the tickets and also proof of the checked baggage. You must print these tickets and take them with you.
I did not specify any luggage when booking, what now?
Since different types of buses are used, it is not certain that the extra baggage will fit in the bus.

Can departure and arrival times be deviated from?
The times mentioned in our timetable are expected departure and arrival times. Due to traffic congestion or other circumstances, it is possible that a bus departs or arrives a little later. We advise you to take this into account, so that you are at the airport on time (the airlines, including AmsterdamExpressBus, advise you to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure of your flight)
AmsterdamExpressBus would like to point out that we cannot be held responsible for any delay.
How long before departure do I have to be present at the boarding point?
AmsterdamExpressBus advises you to be at the boarding point about 10 to 15 minutes before departure. The bus will not leave earlier than the scheduled time, but will not wait either.
In case of a delayed flight, the bus will wait up to 20 minutes.
Are rides possible at times other than those mentioned?
If you are traveling with a group (minimum 6 persons), it is possible to obtain special transport from AmsterdamExpressBus, if AmsterdamExpressBus has this available. If you are interested, we advise you to contact us using the details below regarding availability and possibilities.

What happens if I missed my bus?
What happens if my flight is delayed?
If there is a later bus that day, you can travel with this bus.
If you have a reservation for the last bus that day, the bus can wait a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes.
I cannot be at the boarding point on time, what now?
I don't have a printer, what now?
If you are not able to print your ticket, you can show your ticket on your phone.
What should I do if I don't know exactly when I'll be back?
It is best to buy a single ticket for your outward journey. You can book your ticket online up to and including the day before your trip.
Can you make the plane wait for me?
Unfortunately it is not possible for us to keep the aircraft on the ground until you have arrived. When planning your trip, keep in mind that the check-in desk closes approximately 45 minutes before flight departure. Airports advise you to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.
Can I cancel my ticket due to circumstances?
In general it is not possible to cancel your ticket. In extreme cases, we recommend that you consult your cancellation insurance.
How many days before departure can I book a ticket?
You can book your ticket online up to and including the day before your trip.
Can I also buy tickets on site?
No, there is no point of sale on site. Tickets can be reserved in advance via www.airexpressbus.nl or via one of our resellers.
How do I receive my booked ticket(s)?
At the end of the reservation procedure you will receive your ticket(s) directly by e-mail. It is very important that you can give a printed ticket to the driver. If you are unable to print, you can also show your ticket on your phone.
We cannot refund any money for reserved and unused tickets.
You can log in with your customer number and password to change your travel day or time, but there are costs involved. Tickets can be changed up to 2 working days before departure. Your new ticket will be sent to you by email.
Can I cancel my ticket and get the money back?
In general it is not possible to cancel your ticket. In extreme cases, we recommend that you consult your cancellation insurance.
Do I have to print my ticket?
If you are not able to print your ticket, you can show your ticket on your phone.
I have entered a wrong flight number, what now?
Pay attention! Please make sure to enter a valid flight number. Based on your flight number, AmsterdamExpressBus can see where you are coming from and whether the flight lands according to schedule.

This Hungarian low-budget airline connects Eindhoven Airport with many Eastern European destinations. Wizzair has several stands at Eindhoven Airport.
AmsterdamExpressBus has been a proud partner of Wizzair since 2012. On the Wizzair website it is possible to book a ticket for the AmsterdamExpressBus bus with your flight.
Terravision is an Italian shuttle service between several Italian cities and airports. They also have a branch in Spain and connect various Spanish cities and airports there.
It is possible to buy a ticket for AmsterdamExpressBus at Terravision both on the website and at the sales points at the Italian airports. If you bought your ticket on Terravision’s website, Terravision will give you a valid bus ticket. You no longer need to exchange this at the AmsterdamExpressBus desk. If you have bought a ticket for AmsterdamExpressBus at Terravision at an Italian airport, you must exchange this ticket at the AmsterdamExpressBus counter in the terminal at Eindhoven Airport.
AmsterdamExpressBus has been working together with comparison website Looking4Transfers since 2015. Looking4Transfers is a company that offers various international shuttle services. It is therefore possible to buy your ticket for the AmsterdamExpressBus bus on the Looking4Transfers website.
Stromma Canal Cruises is an organization in Amsterdam that offers various excursions in Amsterdam. It is also possible to buy a ticket for the AmsterdamExpressBus bus at Stromma Canal Cruises. The sales point in the center of Amsterdam, at Prins Hendrikkade 33A, is also the entry and exit point for the AmsterdamExpressBus bus.
